Nonprofits

The Community Foundation strives to help nonprofits in our community in four key areas:

  • Grantmaking
    JoesKids

Grant support to Joe’s Kids helps Kosciusko County children receive pediatric therapy close to home.

Nonprofits may apply for grant funds from several funds at the Community Foundation.

  • Education/Training
The Community Foundation offers at least one workshop each year on a popular topic such as grant writing, marketing, development, and governance. We promote these workshops via our upcoming events page and through our e-newsletter. If you are interested in receiving our e-newsletter, please register here.In addition, we make ourselves available for one-on-one questions. Contact us today if we can help answer a question for your nonprofit organization. To contact our Executive Director please email or call 574-267-1901.
  • Development of Future Board Members
The Community Foundation houses a database, the Board Bank, of community leaders and volunteers interested in serving on the board of directors of nonprofit organizations. These community volunteers have identified missions that match their own passions, and have provided information about their skills and experience that would apply to board service. To access the Board Bank, please contact the Development Director.
