Created to support the mission and work of ACRES Land Trust in northeast Indiana for the preservation of natural areas, environmental education, scientific study and public enjoyment.
Created to support charitable activities important to the agricultural community, including food programs, youth programs and agricultural education programs.
Created by local farmers, Bob and Waneta Bishop, to support AgrIInstitute, an Indiana organization providing leadership training in agriculture.
Established by William and Debrah Katip in memory of their beloved grandson, Aiden William Katip, to meet the changing needs of Kosciusko County, forever. Aiden was 8-years-old when he passed away in 2018 as the result of injuries he sustained in a house fire.

Established in memory of Brady Houck by many friends and family members. Brady was a senior at Warsaw Community High School when he died tragically in a car accident just before graduation. Preference is given to applicants who will be pursuing vocational or technical training.
Established by the Warsaw Breakfast Optimists to fulfill their mission “Friend to Youth.” The scholarships are awarded to Warsaw area students.
Established by Brenda Houtz to provide support to Washington Elementary School to support their STEM program, especially the sciences, and support innovative programs and projects to encourage students’ academic excellence.
Established in memory of Brendyn Ryan Stump, son of Cy Stump and Kristie Culp. Brendyn was a Sophomore at Tippecanoe Valley High School where he excelled in academics and athletics – enjoying both basketball and baseball. After Brendyn tragically passed away as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident, his many friends and the community-at-large demonstrated their love for Brendyn in numerous ways. The establishment of this scholarship fund serves as another way to remember and honor Brendyn. The scholarship will assist Tippecanoe Valley High School seniors who have participated in high school athletics and who demonstrate excellent character and financial need with pursuing their college, university, or vocational education.
Established by Josh Silveus to support charitable causes that provide access to quality, affordable child care, and early learning. Josh is a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County and an alumni of the Community Foundation’s youth leadership program, KEYS. He works at Silveus Insurance Group and is active in numerous civic groups.
Established by Bruce and Janet Petro, in honor of Bruce’s parents, Dresdon and Dortha Hammer Petro, to provide scholarships for students who intend to pursue teaching.

Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana was established in 1944 and in 2006 expanded the service area to include Kosciusko County. Cancer Services’ mission is to enhance the quality of life of those affected by cancer by providing meaningful resources, information and compassionate assistance. Each year our Client Advocates serve nearly 300 Kosciusko County residents with cancer as well as their families. Because of the generosity of donors, most of the services are provided at no cost.

Specifically, this fund supports Wawasee High School graduates who attend a public or private institution, or vocational, technical or trade school. David Stookey was a longtime, well-loved cross country and track coach at Wawasee High School. His wife, Linda, and his children, Eric and Lisa, created this fund to celebrate his life and perpetuate his legacy.

Friends of the Community Arts Program of Kosciusko County established this fund to provide support for a variety of creative and collaborative experiences which allow people in Kosciusko County the opportunity to discover, develop, and share their musical artistic gifts.

Established by friends and family of Dan Kinsey in his memory. Dan was a native of Warsaw. He taught English at McCutcheon High School in West Lafayette, Indiana. Scholarships assist students pursuing a career in teaching.

This fund was established by Daniel and Pamela Hann to recommend grants for purposes aligned with their charitable values and interests. Dan is a retired orthopedic executive and Pam is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. They reside in Leesburg.
Created by Darrell’s family and friends in his memory. Darrell was a longtime teacher in the Warsaw School Corporation, a member of the American Legion, Warsaw Kiwanis and Retired Teacher’s Association.

Established by the Estate of Charles David Reinhart for educational scholarships. Specifically, this fund supports graduating high school seniors from Pierceton or Washington Township in Kosciusko County. The scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in education, or electrical, electronic or digital technology – career paths which reflect the interests of both Dave and Diana Reinhart. Dave Reinhart was a self-taught electronics technician and life-long innovator and entrepreneur. Diana held a master’s degree in Elementary Education and taught at Pierceton Elementary School.
Established by the family of Dave Kistler, in his memory, to annually provide a scholarship to a Wawasee High School graduate who has participated in baseball, softball, or basketball.
Established by the Wawasee Property Owners’ Association (WPOA) and the Lichtenauer family in memory of David Lichtenauer’s years of contributions to the association as a director, president and editor of the WPOA newsletter. The fund provides scholarships to graduates of Wawasee High School.

Established by Elmer Ostrom in memory of his grandfather, Eric Ostrom, an organist in the Lutheran Church in Liden, Sweden. The fund provides scholarships for students pursuing a course of study in music.
Established to support the Etna Green Museum in its efforts to preserve the history of Etna Green.
Established by Ethel Vandermark to provide scholarships to graduates of high schools in Kosciusko County to pursue medical training. Ethel worked for Kosciusko County REMC for many years. Everett was a farmer.
Established by Maria Oler and her brothers Felipe J. Lopez and Juan J. Lopez in memory of their parents, Felipe and Azucena Lopez. This fund will provide scholarships to students who are pursuing degrees in Spanish education, translation, medical studies or other human services.

The Levinson family has deep ties in Kosciusko County having a lake cottage on Lake Wawasee for nearly a century. Even as the family dispersed around the country, they still gravitate to the area as a gathering place.
Established by the Humane Society of Kosciusko County, Inc. to operate a humane animal shelter in Kosciusko County that prevents cruelty to animals by providing for the care and treatment of stray, lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. Funds may also support public education on the humane treatment of animals.
Established with a gift from the estate of Frank and Geraldine “Jerry” Smith to provide an annual stream of income for the Bell Memorial Public Library in Mentone, Indiana. Frank and Jerry Smith were lifetime Mentone residents and operated Frank & Jerry’s Grocery in Mentone from 1947 to 1979.

Created by Charlottanne (Anne) Hosier to fund charitable organizations and programs that were important to Anne and her husband, Jack. Jack and Anne were long-time residents of Leesburg. Jack was a pharmacist and a U.S. Navy veteran. Together, Jack and Anne opened Hosier Pharmacy and H.P. Drugette in the 1960s and 1970s.
Established by Teresa Craig in memory of her aunt to provide scholarships for graduates of Warsaw Community High School who participated in the high school choir, demonstrate financial need, maintain a C average or above, demonstrate community involvement or work a part-time job, and who are family oriented.
Established by the family of Jaden Stout. Jaden was 13-years-old and a student at Edgewood Middle School where he played baritone in the school band and enjoyed cheering on the Warsaw Tigers basketball team. After Jaden died unexpectedly of natural causes, on July 9, 2013, his family created a scholarship in his memory. It is awarded to male students who attended Edgewood Middle School with preference given to those interested in Information Technology, Veterinary Science, or Automotive Studies.
