2020-2021 Scholarship Recipients Announced
This year, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation awarded over $540,000 in scholarships to 151 students who are pursuing higher education this upcoming school year. “Thank you to all the donors who have made these scholarships possible and to all the volunteers who spent hours reviewing student applications,” said Amy Cannon, Community Foundation Program Director. “We had a great pool of applicants this year and are pleased to support these students as they pursue their goals through higher education.”
This past week, the Community Foundation celebrated the students who received scholarships for the 2020-2021 school year. While traditional ceremonies that are often hosted by the local high schools were not able to take place due to COVID-19, students were honored in a variety of new ways. Some schools chose to do live ceremonies online, to recognize their students’ diligence and achievements. The Community Foundation sent members of the board, staff members, and scholarship donors to deliver celebratory yard signs to each high school senior who received a scholarship.
